Well here is my first post just to let you know how screwed up the Stewarts are. Yesterday morning Duff was at work and fell into a BBQ and landed on his hip. He broke his hip and had to have surgery on it last night. The Dr. had to put 3 screws in his hip to stabilize it. The procedure went well but we we only know after 6-8 weeks if the blood vessels will take. The doctor said he should be home in 2 days. He'll be haning out at home for 6-8 weeks recouping because he won't be able to put weight on the injury.
Meanwhile, Suz and Chewy will be STRESSED to the max trying to do all the stuff Duff does in a day. Hopefully all will be good and Duff can run A-1 Swimming Pool tile from his command center downstairs via his bedside.
I'll call you all later but just wanted to give some a heads up and once he is home feel free to visit. Especially come week 4 or 5 so we don't end up filing for divorce!!

Does Duff realize he's not 90? Don't know if I feel worse for Duff or for Leslie having to have Duff home for 8 weeks. At any rate we wish you the best Duff- Get Well Soon!
Poor Duff, that is just awful! Leslie, please tell him we hope he gets well soon too!
Who is JLR? I thought I had the blog set up so it was just us. What is the point in calling ourselves a click is we don't act like one? only joking, but not really...:) I did change the settings now, so that only we can view the blog, so if anyone wants to I can open it back up.
